British UFC fighter of Dagestan origin Muhammad Mokaev said that after he becomes champion of the promotion, he intends to open his own gym.

I want to give back to this country, I want to give back to the younger generation, motive them. I see a lot of kids now on the streets... In my gym once I become a UFC champion I want to open [my own] gym and get the kids out of the streets.
Previously, Mokaev asked the UFC management not to list Russia as his birthplace.
Mokaev last appeared in the Octagon in March 2023 at UFC 286, defeating Jafel Cavalcante Filho by submission in the third round. In October 2022, at UFC 280, he defeated Malcolm Gordon by third-round submission. 22-year-old Mokaev has ten wins and no losses under his belt.
