Irish UFC welterweight fighter Ian Machado Garry has announced his intention to fight former middleweight champion Sean Strickland.
Earlier, there was a verbal altercation between the fighters after Strickland called Garry a cuck and his wife, who is 14 years older than Ian, a succubus.
At a press conference Garry said:
My wife was called a pedophile by Sean Strickland. I'll shut his damn mouth.
Recall, on the night of February 18 at UFC 298 Garry will meet Geoff Neal.
26-year-old Garry last went into the octagon against Neil Magny in August 2023 at UFC 292. Ian won that fight by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 13 wins and no losses on his record. Neal, 33, has 15 wins and five defeats on his record.
