American welterweight Nate Diaz commented on the fight for the UFC lightweight championship belt between Islam Makhachev and Alex Volkanovski, which took place on February 12 at UFC 284.

Recall, Makhachev defeated Volkanovski by unanimous decision of the judges.
Makhachev, 31, had previously appeared in the Octagon in October 2022 at UFC 280, defeating Charles Oliveira by a choking submission in the second round. He has 24 wins and one loss under his belt.
