Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou of Cameroon spoke about the progress of his negotiations with fight promotions.
Francis Ngannou
I made a decision. I know what my next move is going to be without making a deal. I'm going to do a fight under the boxing rules first, and then I'm going to go back to MMA. I'm going to sign with an MMA league - haven't made a decision yet, but I'm very close to it. The choice is between PFL and ONE.
Ngannou left the UFC in January of this year. Francis' last fight in the promotion was against Ciryl Gane last January. Ngannou won that fight by unanimous decision.
Ngannou won the UFC heavyweight title with a second round knockout win over Stipe Miocic. Francis has 17 wins and three losses in mixed martial arts under his belt.
