Top UFC featherweight Sean O'Malley commented on his split decision win over Petr Yan at UFC 280.

Sean O'Malley
If I had lost to Jan, people would respect me a lot more. They would say I lost, but I looked incredibly good. Now they're saying, "He won? You've got to be kidding me!" The people who are pissed off at my win are the people who said Yan would give me a good thrashing.

O'Malley fought Pedro Munhoz at UFC 276 in July of this year. That fight was stopped in the second round and was ruled a mistrial. In December, 2021, at UFC 269, Sean defeated Raulian Paiva by TKO in the first round. The 28-year-old O'Malley has 16 wins and one loss.
