PFL CEO Peter Murray responded to a question about the potential signing of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou to the league.

Francis made it very clear that he’s going to box. We’re excited to see how those plans materialize. We have a very close relationship and more to come on next steps on Francis related to MMA.
Ngannou left the UFC in January 2023 and is now a free agent. He last fought against Ciryl Gane in January 2022 at UFC 270. That fight lasted the whole distance and ended in Francis' favor by a unanimous decision of the judges. He has 17 wins and three losses on his record.
