Famous American rapper Drake bet $500,000 that Jon Jones would finish Ciryl Gane - 250,000 on a knockout win and another 250,000 on a submission victory. As a reminder, the title fight between Jones and Gane will take place on March 5 at UFC 285.
At the time of Drake's bid, the odds of Jones winning by submission were 6.80 and 5.20 for a knockout victory.
Jones defeated Dominick Reyes in February 2020 by unanimous decision. In July 2019, Jones defeated Thiago Santos by split decision. Jones has 26 wins and one loss under his belt.
Gane knocked out Tai Tuivasa in the third round in September 2022. Last January Ciryl lost by unanimous decision to Francis Ngannou. Gane has 11 wins and one loss.
