UFC Champion Jon Jones: I Wouldn't Be Surprised If Blaydes Beats Aspinall

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has spoken out about the upcoming rematch between Curtis Blaydes and interim champion Tom Aspinall, which will take place July 27 at UFC 304 in Manchester, UK.

I wouldn't be surprised if Curtis won. When Curtis decides to go, he's a lot faster than people realize, and he hits hard. A few well-timed shots and that strong top game, it could be a long night for old Tommy boy.

The first fight between Blaydes and Aspinall took place in July 2022 at UFC Fight Night 208. In that fight, Curtis won by technical knockout after Tom was unable to continue the fight due to a knee injury.

Aspinall has 14 wins and three losses on his mixed martial arts record. Blaydes has 18 wins and four losses, with one more of his fights being ruled a no-contest.
