In an exclusive interview with Telecom Asia Sport, UFC featherweight champion and P4P number one Alex Volkanovski compared the promotion's treatment of Sean O'Malley and Petr Yan.

We all see that the UFC promotes Sean O'Malley a lot. But I think the promotion also loves Petr Yan because he's a real fighter, he's willing to fight anybody. He never avoids serious competition. The UFC likes that. I think the organization treats both fighters well, but of course Sean attracts a lot of hype and the UFC is very aware of that.
Petr Yan and Sean O'Malley fought at UFC 280. O'Malley won the fight by split decision after three rounds. It was Yan's second straight loss and third in the UFC.
