On the night of April 30, Yadong defeated Simon by TKO in the fifth round.
Yadong, 25, had previously entered the Octagon in September 2022 at UFC Fight Night 210, losing to Cory Sandhagen by TKO in the fourth round. He has 17 wins and five losses under his belt.
Simon, 30, defeated Jack Shore by second-round choke at UFC on ABC 3 in July 2022. He has 20 wins and four losses under his belt.
