UFC women's strawweight champion Weili Zhang of China shared her emotions after winning the belt by defeating American Carla Esparza.

I'm back, I feel like I'm in a dream. I dreamed about it every day since the day I lost the title. Every day and every night and here I am, back again. Thank you to all those who supported me and my family.
Zhang and Esparza met in the octagon Nov. 13 at UFC 281. Weili earned an early victory in that encounter, smothering her opponent in the second round and won the UFC championship belt.
In June of this year, Zhang fought against Poland's Joanna Jędrzejczyk at UFC 275. That fight ended in favor of Weili by knockout in the second round. She had 23 wins and three losses on her record.
