All participants of the Counter-Strike 2 Thunderpick World Championship 2023 playoffs have been announced. Eight teams will play in the final stage of the tournament.
Cloud9 will compete against BIG in the quarterfinals, FaZe Clan will play against MOUZ, Team Spirit will face Monte, and Virtus.pro will face Heroic. The teams will play in single-elimination format. All matches, including the finals, will be played in bo3 format (up to two wins).
As a reminder, Kirill Boombl4 Mikhailov from 1win played for Cloud9 as a stand-in. Most likely, he will continue to play for the team in the playoffs. Dmitriy sh1ro Sokolov had left Cloud9 before that.
Thunderpick World Championship 2023 takes place online from October 27 to November 5. 16 teams are fighting for $500,000 in prize money.
After the group stage, FURIA, Complexity, SAW, fnatic, Nouns, M80, Wilcard and NiP dropped out of the tournament.
