Players in the state of New Jersey placed $4.1 billion in bets in the first quarter of 2023, which is 42% higher compared to the previous year ($2.9 billion), according to data from the state's Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).
With 17 online operators, New Jersey is one of America's most competitive sports betting markets.
FanDuel earned $136.8 million since the beginning of the year, making it the highest-grossing operator by a significant margin, owned by Flutter Entertainment.
DraftKings reported the second-largest gross revenue in New Jersey at $82 million. PointsBet secured the third spot with a revenue volume of $55.6 million.
BetMGM rounded up the top four leaders with revenue of $16.9 million, while the British operator bet365 earned $9.7 million.
