All participants of the quarterfinals of open qualifier #2 for the upcoming IEM Sydney 2023 CS:GO tournament have been determined. Virtus.pro, Team Spirit and 1win have made it to this stage.
Virtus.pro's opponents will be EYEBALLERS, Team Spirit will face Movistar Riders, and 1win will face Eternal Fire. All quarterfinal matches are scheduled for August 12 at 19:00 GMT+3.
The second open qualification for the tournament takes place from August 11-12. The top two teams will receive quotas to the closed qualifiers. The winners of the first qualification were Victory Zigzag and BetBoom Team.
Closed qualifiers for IEM Sydney 2023 for Europe will be held from August 23 to 25 online. Eight teams will take part in the qualifiers, including Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG, 9INE and Apeks.
IEM Sydney 2023 will take place October 16-22 at LAN in Sydney, Australia. 16 teams will play for $250,000 in prize money. Natus Vincere, Cloud9 and Monte have received direct invitations.
