With the Pacers missing their biggest star, any win is worth its weight in gold. Indiana broke their streak of 7 straight losses by defeating Chicago (116:110), which allowed the team to retain the 9th place in the Eastern Conference. Andrew Nembhard was again absent from the game against the Bulls, and T.J. McConnell was again the primary playmaker. McConnell had 20 points and ten assists. Miles Turner and Benedict Mathurin were critical offensively, scoring 26 points each.

Indiana lacks outside-the-box solutions on offense, and last game against Chicago, the Pacers were lucky to beat their opponent. On defense, the Bulls look much worse than Orlando. More recently, the Magic handled the Eastern Conference leader with little trouble and neutralized one of the best offensive teams in the league. The home team can handle Indiana.
