Before traveling to Las Vegas, Utah participated in a traditional home tournament in Salt Lake City. They lost all three games a year ago, but now they managed to pick up one win. It was 102:88, thanks to a 30:13 run in the final quarter. Separately, we should mention ex-Portland player Brandon Williams, who scored 24 points in Minnesota. Josh Mynott scored 20. Leonard Miller had 16 points; Wendell Moore had 15.
