Chennai Super Kings
Chennai has had a very bad season this time around. Usually seen in the top half of the table they have come down to second last in this year's IPL. The bowling has looked below average and the batting has followed suit. There are some positives in terms of the opening partnership of Jadhav and Convoy has come to form in the last few games but bowling has let them down big time. They need to win all the games starting now and need to depend on the results from others to have any hope of going into the playoffs. Any loss and they will be out of the tournament mathematically.

The Delhi Capitals have had a very rough season themselves but they managed to win against Sunrisers in a grand fashion. Nortje has come and provided them with the pace that they needed. However, in the last game against Sunrisers Prithvi Shaw and Axar Patel suffered some minor injuries which can rule them out of the game. If it does then Delhi will be very weak in both the departments. David Warner's back in the form is a major boost for the Delhi side.
