Now ruggah, a once scandalous coach but with a lot of experience, has joined the team. He was the one who was a big part of North's success in 2017-2019. In Astralis the position of captain is now taken by device, and stavn finally got his usual roles, as he admitted in recent interviews. The team played great in China, beating FaZe and Virtus.pro in the group stage. But in the semifinals they lacked experience in some places and luck in some places. One way or another, IEM Chengdu 2024 became a "bright spot" for the Danes in the failed beginning of 2024.

However, it is too early to talk about high ambitions from Astralis. This is the most unstable team in the last six months. They can win against HLTV tops, and with the same success they can give the series tier-2-3 to its opponents. At RMR there was a failure from 9 Pandas, and at the qualifiers the Danes suffered defeats from AMKAL Esports - and these are not the best teams from Eastern Europe.
