Hull City form
Following Liam Rosenior's appointment as manager in November last year, Hull City entered the new campaign with optimism and a strong desire to improve. Despite starting off the season with a loss against Norwich City, they quickly bounced back with a convincing 4-2 victory over Sheffield Wednesday, thanks to Ozan Tufan's hat-trick and a goal from Aaron Connolly. They continued their winning streak with a come-from-behind 2-1 win against Blackburn Rovers, courtesy of two goals from Connolly in the final 10 minutes. A 1-1 draw with Bristol City and a victory against newly-relegated Leicester City further solidified their impressive start. They maintained their unbeaten streak with a 1-1 draw against Joel Latibeaudiere's first-half goal, thanks to a late goal from Connolly. Currently in fifth place, Hull City aims to continue their momentum and improve their position in the league standings with another positive result in their upcoming challenging match on Wednesday.
Hull City Predicted Lineup
Ingram; Coyle, Jones, Greaves, Christie; Slater, Seri; Delap, Twine, Philogene; Connolly
Leeds United form
Hull City will face a Leeds United team that is also gaining momentum in their quest to return to the Premier League under new manager Daniel Farke. After being relegated and going through significant changes in management and players during the summer, the Yorkshire team struggled to start the season well. They earned only one point from a draw with Cardiff City, thanks to Crysencio Summerville's late equalizer, and lost their next game 1-0 against Birmingham City. Their third game resulted in a 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion.
With only two points from their first three games, Leeds United's fortunes have improved recently. They secured their first victory in a thrilling 4-3 win against Ipswich Town, with goals from Georginio Rutter, Wilfried Gnonto, Joel Piroe, and Luis Sinisterra. They followed this with a goalless draw against Sheffield Wednesday before the international break. In their latest match against Millwall, Farke's team delivered a dominant performance, winning 3-0 with goals from Piroe and Rutter.
Now aiming to leave their slow start behind them and establish themselves as frontrunners in the Championship, Leeds United will aim to secure back-to-back wins for the first time this year as they pursue promotion.
Leeds United Predicted Lineup
Meslier; Ayling, Struijk, Rodon, Byram; Gray, Ampadu; Summerville, Piroe, Gnonto; Rutter
