Norwich City form
Norwich will be returning to their East Anglian home this weekend after suffering consecutive defeats on the road. It has not been a good few days for their supporters, especially after a strong start to the season under their new manager, David Wagner. Their last match against Plymouth Argyle was particularly disastrous, with a 6-0 loss at Home Park. Morgan Whittaker scored a hat-trick within 60 minutes, while Dan Scarr, Finn Azaz, and Luke Cundle also contributed to the goals. Prior to that, they faced Fulham in the EFL Cup, where they managed to score a goal through Borja Sainz, but conceded earlier goals to Carlos Vinicius and Alex Iwobi.
Despite their initial strong performance, Norwich's recent losses to Leicester City and Plymouth Argyle indicate that their current squad may not have an easy path to promotion like Teemu Pukki and his teammates in previous seasons. They currently sit in eighth place in the league with 13 points from their first eight matches, which is a decent total. However, the excellent form of Enzo Maresca's team and the newly-promoted Ipswich Town have put Saturday's hosts eight points behind the top two teams in the standings.
Norwich City Predicted Lineup

Birmingham City form
Since making his debut for Birmingham City and scoring a dramatic late winner against Plymouth on August 26th, Jay Stansfield, the team has not won any of their last five games. This includes a loss to Cardiff City in the EFL Cup, a competition they previously won in 2011 under the management of Alex McLeish. The team has had home draws against Millwall and Queens Park Rangers, as well as away losses against Watford and Preston North End. While their performances have not been embarrassing, there is a consensus that there is room for improvement as the new-look squad continues to come together. The next match against Queens Park Rangers on Friday night was notable for the impressive performances of both goalkeepers, John Ruddy and Asmir Begovic, who made remarkable saves to keep the score level. Birmingham City now faces a busy schedule, with matches against Carrow Road, Huddersfield Town, and local rivals West Bromwich Albion in the coming week. Currently sitting in 10th place in the Championship standings, the team will be happy with their progress so far. However, with a challenging set of fixtures and an increasing number of injuries, their position in the top half of the table may be temporary.
Birmingham City Predicted Lineup
Ruddy; Drameh, Sanderson, Long, Longelo; Bielik, Sunjic, Burke, Miyoshi, Dembele; Stansfield
Norwich City vs Birmingham City Expert Tips
Norwich displayed a commendable performance at Craven Cottage despite their elimination from the EFL Cup. However, in order to forget their disappointing loss to Plymouth last weekend, the Canaries will need to start the upcoming match energetically on Saturday. Birmingham, on the other hand, are facing an injury crisis and have three matches scheduled within a week. Nevertheless, having had a week's break, Eustace's team should be able to secure at least a draw this Saturday. Bet on a double chance for the away side.
