Osijek vs Lokomotiva Zagreb Prediction: Both teams are struggling recently

On Saturday, starting at 20:10, the 15th round of SuperSport HNL continues with the clash between Osijek and Lokomotiva at Opus Arena. The defeat against Hajduk, in fact, the way the Osijek played especially in the first half, left a mark. Three days later, the White and Blue will try to win against Lokomotiva, and Zoran Zekic announced that he will make a lot of changes in the team.

Osijek stumbled against Hajduk in the last game of the third round at home. In the minimal defeat of 1:0, we saw two completely different halves - Hajduk dominated in the first 45 minutes, which they managed to crown with a goal, while Osijek failed to materialize their supremacy in the second half. Zoran Zekic and his team are now turning to a new challenge, namely the seventh-placed Lokomotiv. Lokos are currently well organized, but Osijek simply have to celebrate in this clash if they want to keep up with the top teams, and we believe that they will succeed in this in the end if they play the way they played the second part with Hajduk. Osijek now have two defeats in a row and currently are in 5th position with 21 points.

Silvio Cabraja's team are not in bad shape, but they haven't been shining lately either, because they have gone four consecutive rounds without a win. They also had a difficult schedule, i.e. clashes with Dinamo and Rijeka in which they showed good football. Dinamo managed to defeat them with an incredible turnaround in stoppage time, while Lokos managed to stop Rijeka in a 1:1 draw in the last round at home. However, we have the impression that they will be defeated against Osijek after the first duel of the season ended with a dramatic 2:2 when Lokomotiva equalized in literally the last seconds of the game. Lokomotiva are in 7th place with 15 points.

Osijek looks unstable at the moment, but judging by the way they played in the second half against Hajduk, all three points should stay at Opus Arena today. Lokomotiva have been without a win for some time, but that's why they don't lose games easily either, so this Saturday will certainly be a tough challenge for Osijek.
