On the night of September 27, Russian heavyweight Alexander Soldatkin will compete in the Contender Series to earn a trip to the UFC. His opponent will be the undefeated Brazilian Mario Piazzon.

Alexander Soldatkin has long ago earned the right to compete in the strongest league. He has already proven himself in Russia - eleven wins in a row, ten of them early. Alexander achieved a lot in Open FC, where he became the champion after winning five KOs in the first round in a row. Then he went to Europe to compete in the Ares FC 15 tournament, finishing the Bosnian fighter in the second round (shoulder injury).
Mario Piazzon
Mario Piazzon had seven fights in local Brazilian leagues during his short professional career and won all of them (except one) by knockout.
Expert Betting Tips
To understand the level of the Brazilian fighter, look at the records of his last bouts - 0-4, 11-18, 0-1. And that's, by the way, the strongest he's faced, even though those names won't tell you anything. Of course, the Russian knockout expert is the favorite here, so the fight doesn't promise to be very difficult. Soldatkin, if something goes wrong, can wrestle and finish, but we can't say that about the Brazilian.
