Corey Anderson vs Carl Moore Prediction: The American fighter will take the vacant title

Bellator 302 mixed martial arts tournament will take place on 22 March in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The main event will be a fight for the vacant light heavyweight belt between Corey Anderson and Carl Moore.

After Nemkov's departure, Corey Anderson is the obvious favorite in the division. He's an experienced but not worn-out fighter with a lot of experience in the UFC (his opponents there were Jan Blachowicz, Mauricio Rua, Glover Teixeira, Johnnie Walker, and other tough guys). Anderson appeared in Bellator in 2020, going on a nice winning streak until he faced Vadim Nemkov.

The first fight with Nemkov was stopped, and a no contest was ruled due to a head clash, but it should be noted that Vadim had a rough time at the time, and there's no telling how it would have ended. But in the second fight, the Russian simply demolished Anderson and confidently won every round.

After that, Corey Anderson scored a close (for many controversial) win over Phil Davis by split decision and continued to challenge Nemkov for a rematch.

Carl Moore

Carl Moore, a base wrestler and former Cage Warriors league champion. He's been in Bellator since 2019, has had four fights here and has won each of them (once by submission and three times by decisions).

Unlike Corey Anderson, he has yet to see truly top opposition opposite him in the cage. Moore had his previous fight last summer and won it against Alex Polizzi.

Corey Anderson has been given a second chance to become champion, and he will do his best to take the belt this time around. He has more skills and experience, and most importantly, after two fights with Nemkov, he has finally figured out what to do with a fighter. Anderson himself, by the way, is a pretty good fighter, but in striking, he's just a cut above Carl Moore, who, by the way, suffered his last loss by knockout (in 2018 at the Cage Warriors tournament).
