Roman Dolidze

Roman Dolidze came to MMA as a grappling world champion, but he is not a wrestler in the classic sense. His fighting technique is peculiar. He focuses more on attacks in a sweeping manner, does not avoid exchanges, and is physically quite strong.

He made a name for himself in the Ukrainian WWFC league, where he fought in the light heavyweight division and became champion, winning all five fights before the scheduled time. Dolidze made his UFC debut in 2020 (moving down to middleweight) and has already six wins (four by knockout) and two losses. In his last fight, the most important in his career, he lost to former title contender Marvin Vettori. 

Nassourdine Imavov

Nassourdine Imavov moved from Dagestan to France at a young age and began his professional career in Europe. His style is somewhat reminiscent of Dolidze's - Imavov can fight when necessary but prefers to solve problems from the standup position, sometimes neglecting defense and getting into the chopping blocks.

After three impressive wins in the UFC (he defeated Ian Heinisch by knockout, Edmen Shahbazyan by knockout, Joaquin Buckley by decision), Imavov unexpectedly lost by one round to Sean Strickland (this fight was the starting point for Strickland on his way to the title).

Then, there was a No Contest with Chris Curtis and an unclear fight with Ikram Aliskerov.
