As we expected, Karen very confidently passed the first round of the Masters in Paris, beating the 43rd ranked Australian Purcell in two games 6:4, 6:4. During the game, the Russian made five aces and five double faults, won 75% of points on the first serve and 55% on the second. It should be noted that for Khachanov, the Paris Masters is the second event in the fall part of the season.
