Jamal Musiala, the midfielder for Bayern Munich, sustained an injury during the quarterfinal match of the Club World Cup against PSG (0-2) that will sideline him until the end of 2025.
Right before halftime, in the 4th minute of stoppage time, Musiala collided with PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, suffering a serious injury that forced him off the field. Medical examinations revealed that the 22-year-old German player has a fractured fibula and an ankle sprain.
On Sunday, July 6, Musiala left Orlando and traveled to Munich to begin his recovery period. Bayern have not announced a timeline for his return. According to Bild, the recovery process could take between 4 to 5 months.
