Spanish winger Nico Williams has signed a new agreement with Athletic Bilbao, extending his contract until the summer of 2035, as reported by the club's press office. His previous contract was set to expire in the summer of 2027.
Earlier reports indicated that Barcelona were close to finalizing negotiations for Williams' transfer and were preparing to announce the signing soon.
Last season, Nico made 45 appearances across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists. According to website Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €70 million.
