The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) will impose a fine on Paris Saint-Germain because of the aggressive behavior of fans during and after the Champions League final with Inter (5:0). This is reported by the French edition of RMC Sport with reference to Bild.
According to the source, besides the fine, the club faces compensation for the riots, damage to the gate and repeated use of pyrotechnics.
Recall, PSG fans damaged the net on the gate, in which the team scored three goals in the second half, and also ripped out pieces of lawn as a memento of the victory.
After the final whistle, many PSG fans broke through security and marched onto the pitch at the Arena Munich stadium in Germany. Police intervened to disperse the crowd and return around 2,000 trespassers to the stands.
In related news, police arrested about 300 people in the French capital after the triumph of the local team in Europe's major club tournament.
