Rachel Priest and Hobart Hurricanes will fight it out against the table-toppers Adelaide Strikers in their fourth WBBL fixture. Hurricanes have lost two out of three games but a Rachel Priest carnage and superb bowling in the last game against the Stars mean that they would come in with confidence. Meanwhile, Strikers have done the job both while batting and bowling, so they’d be hungry to continue the stellar form

Tahlia and her impeccable form

Tahlia McGrath has burst into form this year, after leading the Australian charge against India, she has slid into her Strikers’ role in an enthralling manner. She is the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament so far and struck a half-century in the last game. Her form has helped the Strikers notch two wins in a row and Hobart will hope she comes back to Earth from the stratosphere against them.

Priest and her explosion

Rachel Priest nailed 107 runs in the last game, the fourth-highest WBBL individual runs ever. She cleared the rope using her strong forearms and impeccable timing. However, the Strikers have bowled superbly so far and don’t give much room. How will Rachel respond to tough bowling?

The battle of bowlers

Sarah Coyte of the Strikers and Molly Strano of the Hurricanes are joint-highest wicket-takers with five in their bag. The Hurricanes have a sturdy fast bowling duo of Tayla Vlaemnick and Vakarewa, which is yet to show its full strength. Tayla has focused on speed but will look for more control now. Strikers have terrific bowlers in Nicola Carey, Amanda Jade-Wellington, and Darcie Brown along with McGrath and Coyte, a bowling combination that can be a handful on its day.
