Hugo Ekitike has signed for Liverpool in a deal worth £79m (€91.5m) from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Frenchman signed a six-year contract at Anfield after Liverpool agreed to pay an initial fee of £69m (€80m) plus £10m (€12.5m) in add-ons for the striker.
The 23-year-old joins Liverpool following an impressive season in 2024/25, where he scored 22 goals and provided 12 assists in 48 appearances across three competitions while also being named to the Bundesliga Team of the Season. He becomes Liverpool's fifth summer signing, joining Jeremie Frimpong, Giorgi Mamardashvili, Florian Wirtz, and Milos Kerkez.
Ekitike underwent a medical examination at Anfield on Tuesday and finalized personal terms with Liverpool. He is set to travel to Hong Kong to link up with his new teammates as the Reds prepare for their preseason tour of Asia later this week.
