Hojlund scored in all four of his February appearances, winning each match for his club. It extended his overall Premier League scoring streak to six matches, making him the youngest player in history to achieve this. Unfortunately, he suffered a muscle injury, which has kept him out of action for the last two league matches.

Although he had a challenging start to life in the top flight following his £72 million transfer from Atalanta, the 21-year-old had difficulties adapting to the new league. However, he eventually scored his first goal for the team during their 3-2 victory against Aston Villa in December, under head coach Erik ten Hag.

Rasmus Hojlund said on the club's website
I'm very happy. Of course, it's a big privilege to get this award, especially with the other contenders who were nominated as well.
Speaking on his recent form, Hojlund added
I always like to say I have the confidence before I go into the game. Of course, you get a little bit more momentum going into the game when you've scored. You feel like you're in good form and in a good flow, and you just want the next game to come. They can't come fast enough!

Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoo has also been awarded the Premier League Goal of the Month for February 2024. His match-winning strike helped the club secure a thrilling 4-3 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
