Last-mile solution developer ADTRAN has launched three new multiservice routers capable of a sustained throughput of up to 250 Mbps.

The new routers include dual-slot the NetVanta 3450 and 3458, which provide support for multiple T1s or E1s of bandwidth as well as 45 Mbps of Carrier Ethernet. The 3458 also includes an eight-port power-over-Ethernet switch.

The last model, the NetVanta 4430, has been designed to simplify the deployment of higher-bandwidth carrier Ethernet services.
