Indian mobile operator Aircel has implemented multiple Oracle applications - including components of Oracle Communications Service Fulfillment Suite, Siebel CRM, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database and Oracle Real Application Clusters - to help drive its aggressive growth plans.
According to Aircel, the Oracle applications will enable it to quickly launch operations in new markets and provide a platform to offer new services, build stronger brands and reduce operational costs.
With more than 15 million customers in 10 Indian states, Aircel plans to expand its operations to at least seven more states and launch Wimax services.
