Vera Networks, a US-based system integrator of telecom services, has appointed Alex Skaalerud as vice president of sales and marketing.
Skaalerud has joined the team after a channel partnership formed between ALOE Systems (ex MERA Systems) and Vera Networks aimed at boosting ALOE sales in North America.
He brings 14 years of experience in the telecommunication sector with specialties in wholesale carrier services, retail distribution and softswitch sales and support.
Skaalerud previously headed sales as director of business development for Dial America, where he focused on service delivery for top US communication companies.
Prior to Dial America, he led the wholesale carrier business sales for Covista Communications.
