NBN Co CFO Philip KnoxKnox (pictured) has over thirty years of financial experience. Prior to joining NBN Co, Knox was recently CFO at APN Outdoor. He also has held CFO roles at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and Austar.

Knox is taking on the role following the promotion of former NBN Co CFO Stephen Rue to CEO. Rue replaced Bill Morrow as CEO in September and was also appointed executive director of NBN Co's board.

Rue said nearly three in four Australians can now connect to the NBN access network, and Phil’s “outstanding track record of delivery and hands-on experience across key financial disciplines” will be critical in the final two years of the company’s broadband rollout.
