BigPond Movies announced a partnership with Twentieth Century Fox, to provide film and television titles to Telstra customers connected to IPTV services such as T-Box, smart TVs and BigPond.com.

The agreement would increase BigPond Movies’ catalogue to more than 2500 titles by the end of the year, said Ben Kinealy, Telstra’s director of IPVT.

“Our customers are watching movies online in record numbers month on month and we’re delighted to be bringing them even more choice,” Kinealy said. “With Fox’s new release and catalogue films – we’ve got a great range of films and know our customers will lap them up.”

Movies and TV shows from BigPond Movies are unmetered for Telstra customers so their downloads won’t impact the monthly data allowance.
