China Mobile Jiangsu has selected Kodiak Networks to support its first push-to-talk deployment.

Kris Patel, CTO and EVP of products and customers support at Kodiak Networks said PTT solution would support services such as group conference and location based service to its enterprise customers from transportation, hotel and service industries, over its existing voice network.

Jiangsu Mobile plans to offer commercial services in the first quarter of 2008 with the support of more than 20 different models of handsets, Patel said. He said the deployment comes after a successful commercial pilot involving 20,000 users earlier this year.
