Spirent Communications said China Telecom has selected the Spirent C2K-ATS system to test mobile phones before they are offered to subscribers.
China Telecom will use the Spirent test system for parametric radio testing, signaling conformance testing, data performance testing and location-based services testing.
Also, the single-platform multi-function tool can be tailored for mobile device design-verification testing, product integration and debugging, and the resolution of post-deployment issues.
The Spirent C2K-ATS system is said to be the de facto industry standard for CDMA and evolution data optimized testing.
