Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp has sold off controlling stakes in three Chinese TV channels as it revamps its China operations once more. News will sell the holdings to China Media Capital (CMC), a fund backed by the state-owned Shanghai Media Group, China’s second largest media firm, and set up a JV with CMC.

Chinese portal Sohu has agreed to sell 32% of its Sogou search business to investors including the Alibaba Group and a fund backed by CEO Charles Zhang.
