TM Forum supports Wholesale Applications Community

TM Forum said it plans to work closely with the Wholesale Applications Community to ensure its success by helping to address underlying IT challenges facing operators. CEO Keith Willetts said majority of operators in the community are already active members of the Forum, and it’s critical that they move quickly to establish value in the app market.

Qualcomm committed to provide high-tech applications and smartphones for use in the annual activity aimed at promoting public health and preventing disease.

Opera Mini launches on Windows Mobile phones

Opera Software has launched a native version of Opera Mini 5 beta for Windows Mobile 5- and 6-based handsets. This new version – available for free download -- includes the same rich feature set as the Java-based version such as tabbed browsing, password manager, bookmarks and Speed Dial.
