Interoute announced its strategic partnership with service provider, SIPCOM, to deliver Microsoft’s Lync Server 2010 to organizations across Europe.

Interoute is placing SIPCOM’s unified communication platform in its pan-European cloud, enabling organizations to connect employees in new ways, regardless of physical location.

By turning to SIPCOM and Interoute for their unified communications needs, organizations can move their global inbound and outbound VoIP communication to a single interface, without having to overcome the complexity of combining multiple software architectures, or embarking on expensive migration projects.

Additional capabilities of the new Microsoft end user license agreement, as a result of License Mobility through Software Assurance also makes it easier for organizations to switch to a hosted cloud environment without additional costs
