Kaspersky Lab, Huawei collaborating on cloud security

Kaspersky Lab and Huawei announced a new collaboration in the field of cloud security during the recent Huawei Connect 2018 industry expo in Shanghai.

The cooperation is aimed at integrating Kaspersky Lab’s security portfolio with Huawei's cloud computing solution.

Through the collaboration, the companies aim to deliver a more comprehensive approach to cloud security and build a more secure ecosystem, while providing data center and desktop cloud customers with simplified management and superior performance.

As part of this collaboration, the companies have launched an integrated solution based on Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security and Huawei Fusionsphere Products.

Huawei FusionSphere provides customers with virtualization and VDI services, which when integrated with Kaspersky Security Solutions can provide agentless security protection solution for virtual machine scenarios.

Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security is designed to provide a unified security solution for all cloud scenarios. The solution is suitable for cloud migration and native cloud scenarios, protecting the physical and virtualized workloads of the enterprise, whether it is running locally, in a data center, or in a public cloud.
