smartBridges has launched the airClient TOTAL 551 series of cost-effective customer premise equipment (CPE) that allows telecoms operators to establish end-to-end high performance wireless connectivity in the license free UNII 5.xGHz bands.
Together with a high-gain 18dBi integrated antenna, the OFDM-based client radio is designed for simple and fast out-of-the-box NrLOS installations up to 6km from the base station. Up to 10km distance connectivity is also made possible with an optional external antenna connected to the N-type antenna connector.
The industrial-grade CPE is housed in a compact weatherproof IP65-rated enclosure, delivering reliable performance in all climatic conditions.
