modu has entered into an exclusive agreement with Lynk Communications to distribute modu phones and modu jackets (phone enclosures) in the Philippines, as well as into deals in several other countries in the region that will be announced later.
An initial order of modu phones and modu jackets, valued in total at $38.5 million, will hit the region beginning in the second quarter of 2009.
In addition to complete mobile functionality, modu offers users inexpensive and easy options to customize their mobile experience by inserting the modu phone into modu jackets.
As additional modu jackets become available, customers can affordably change the look of their phone according to their needs, preferences and style.
