Motricity appoints CMO

John O'Rourke has joined Motricity as chief marketing officer.
O'Rourke comes to Motricity from Intermec Technologies, where he served as the vice president of global marketing since 2009.
Prior to joining Intermec, O'Rourke spent more than 15 years at Microsoft, in roles including general manager of Windows Mobile and senior director for consumer strategy.
In addition, O'Rourke was a senior director of marketing for Xbox where he led the global launch of the first generation device.
Prior to his work with Xbox, he was the Director of Marketing for the Learning, Entertainment, and Productivity Division, Group Product Manager for Microsoft Office and Product Manager for Microsoft Works.
