BICS have been chosen by MTS (OJSC Mobile TeleSystems), the largest mobile operator in Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, as the carrier’s signaling provider for its group companies.
Starting in July this year, MTS began using BICS as the global signaling gateway for its daughter companies in Russia, Ukraine, Armenia and Uzbekistan, in order to ensure continuity of services for its 95 million strong mobile subscribers while travelling and using their mobile phones all around the globe.
“We are very proud to have been selected as MTS' signaling partner, providing the necessary global reach to their customers with the best in class voice and mobile data capabilities while roaming,” said Nicholas Nikrouyan, Chief Commercial Officer at BICS.
