NTT Bizlink announced that it has tapped Arkadin and Vidyo to deploy video-as-a-service videoconferencing solutions to clients this year.

NTT Bizlink said it plans to combine this cloud-based video collaboration service with existing video conferencing service offerings through the NTT Communications Group in December.

The video conferencing service will be instantly available over any internet or wireless connection through simple one-click access from desktops or mobile devices, the NTT unit said.

The company added the service is a fast and efficient way to broaden their offerings in the video conferencing market without requiring expensive upfront infrastructure investments.

The Arkadin hosted Vidyo service is an infrastructure-less model offering deployments on mobile and room systems interoperable with existing H.323 infrastructure investments.

Aside from Japan, the video-as-a-service program is now also available in the US, EMEA and APAC.
