Openet has won a contract to provide its subscriber optimization solutions to a Brazilian operator.
Under the arrangement, Openet will deploy its FusionWorks Policy Manager PCRF suite. This will be combined with Cisco's deep packet inspection offering, provided by Openet service integration partner Promon Logicalis
The vendor secured the contract through its Cisco Developer Network program.
Openet and Cisco have been partners for more than 10 years, completing engagements for operators including Orange, Turkcell and Mobilkom Austria.
