Oracle scores more customer wins

Oracle has clinched several new customer wins in Asia Pacific and Japan, with organizations across key industries in the region adopting or expanding implementations of Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management and Oracle Business Intelligence, and Oracle Applications for their strategic company-wide business systems.

For the second fiscal quarter of 2009, Oracle has scored significant wins in the areas of communications, media and utilities, manufacturing and retail, financial services, and government, education and healthcare.

These deployments were mostly done to help address critical business challenges, such as achieving cost efficiencies, improving business agility, and delivering superior customer service, Oracle says.
