Pacnet appoints Thailand country manager

Pacnet has appointed Paisan Kaweyanun as country manager to head the company’s Thailand operations.

Paisan has more than 20 years of experience in the telecoms industry in Thailand. Prior to joining Pacnet, Paisan was advisor to the CEO of Jasmine Group, a Thailand-based telecommunications consultancy.

Separately Pacnet has promoted Nigel Stitt to the position of CEO of its Australia and New Zealand business.

Stitt replaces Deborah Homewood, who is planning to seek employment outside of the telecommunications and technology sector.

Sitt has served in a number of senior positions with Pacnet over the past 8 years, most recently national sales Director for Pacnet Australia.

He has more than 21 years of IT and telecoms experience and was GM of Techcel/CNN Internet before he joined Pacnet.
